Summer Swing Shell....a pattern for the mid-gauge knitting machine This sleeveless summer top, with it's a-line shaping, flared hemline and customizable height underarm is both cool and flattering to the fuller figure. Knit in DesMontes Cotton (a light worsted-weight cable cotton) it is comfortable enough for outdoor wear, but The textural details give it enough pizzazz to compliment a summer evening skirt, or dress up shorts, yet are easier to hand manipulate than they appear, using the Multiple Adjustable Latch Tool. The generous square sleeve hole is faced with shaker rib variation that matches the hem, and is then seamed part way up the armhole to give it a more modest underarm fit. Larger sizes require bed extensions.
