Holly and Bear Motif

The repeating holly border on this chart is centered as a border motif for the bear, yet it is still a 24 stitch repeat for use with your magic needle selector wand. and so could be used all the way across (or seperately) if desired. The top and bottom holly repeats are different (flip-flopped), as I was fiddling around with them and couldn't decide which my eye liked best. Since confusion is a normal state for me, I have decided to just "go with it" so, for your pleasure, I have included another couple of  holly  variations for your eye to play with...(thumbnails are first, scroll down for save-able/printable charts) 

The bear him/her-self is best done intarsia or perhaps swiss-darned on a snowy night.
