Squirrels Motif

Here is another 24 stitch chart (for use with or without the  Magic Needle Selector Wand)

I have been wanting to do a simple squirrel for a while now, and the fun of this one is that I did it on an old b/w palm pilot while just fooling around, and it turned out pretty good in translation.
You see it here modeled on a real nut. The hat pattern is the "cotton skull cap" pattern from the "Mid Gauge Explorer Vol I~Hats" patterns on CD.  This hat is knit in fingering weight superwash wool with double stranded sock yarn for the patterning on the LK 150.
(thanks to Jimmy Butler for modeling, he is a Nashville musician currently working on an album that, upon preliminary listening, I have dubbed  "smooth jazz to knit by". We'll stay tuned and report its release) The boys have pointed out that the inversion of this sort of looks more like a tribal motif than squirrels.
